The Countdown Is On!!!

Well, I am 20 days away from my due date so I think I will officially begin my countdown. I'm feeling alot of actio! tons of braxton hicks some are actually a little painful! but I don't want to say I'll go early b/c then it will feel like forever if I'm even a day or two late! Plus, mom and dad don't get here till the 26th so I dont want to go early. I'm still trying to get the house in order, the office moved and the guest room ready for mom and dad. I'm so excited for them to come out. We have a plan for a special night but they don't know about it and i dont want to say anything incase they read this. As for the rest of me i got a hair cut (just a trim) and so did Tyson yesterday, I went for a pedicure today my feet look great! I just wish i could see them! and tomorrow I'm going for a massage! Best part about it is its free!! There is a massage school and if your pregnant you get 3 free pre natal and 3 free post natal massages! I know the girl (Becky Holte) so its even better! all I could ask for now is that Tyson sleep better. I think his new room and big boy bed are taking a bit to get use to! He was up at 4:30am!!! and STAYED UP!!! so needless to say Joel and I both were a bit on the slow side today. Well, i should get going I have Tyson upstairs watching the Doughnut Man or Dodoo as Tyson calls him. and having a snack....Ha,if you can call it a snack. he has discovered ice and thinks its the best treat in the world. so we crush it into tiny chips and he is one happy camper! (a child after my own heart! actually, i think i own my ice fetish to Heather...mind you i've never had to hide the ice cube trays under my bed before so i think she is still more addicted then me!) Well, have a great night!

Tyson's Big Boy Bed!!

Well, I was feeling panicked about the soon arrival of baby #2 being we we're not ready with tyson's room. I was also feeling a little worried about how he would react to all the changes. but, this has been a FULL week! with painting, building and cleaning....(i think i'm nesting!) tyson's room is done now. though and its really pain still but it will be cute when we are done. We are gonna do it Veggie Tales but since ther is no wallpaper we have to get creative. So we bought him the Bob and Larry and went with multi coloured sheets. We won't be putting the toys in there until he has a better understanding of staying in his bed! he actually has only slept in it once we havent put his door on and i don't feel like chasing him around all night! The baby's room is pretty much good to go. i have to wash the walls still and do all the laundry (baby blankets and tyson's infant clothes) if its a boy we are set if not then i'll just send all the clothes to Paul and Susan and we will buy girl stuff! (That could be tons of fun!) I also have been pretty productive and made some meals to freeze so that we have dinner but its lower maintenence this way. I think i'm ready for the baby now. I don't feel as nervous now that all the big things are done but i gotta admit i'm still kinda freaking out about what to do with 2 of them!!
I have no idea how Tyson will react to no longer being the centre of everyone's world but i'm sure we'll manage. Anyways, i'm totally bagged and this baby is making it a little uncomfortable to sit in this chair for too much longer. Anyways, check out my pics for more of my cute son!

Weekend At The Lake!

What a weekend we had!! We all went to Sheleen's lake (Sterl's girlfriend for anyone that does'nt know) And "we all" was Joel,Tyson, Sterl, Shea and me
And man was it fun. i laughed so much and ate a lot of hotdogs! there's nothing better then a winnie roasted over the fire! It was relaxing and adventurous. On Sunday the boat broke down so we were a little stranded but, at least it happened after we took a family tube ride. Thats me in a wet suit 8 mo pregnant....no a whale did not jump onto the tube with Joel and Tyson! It was fun...except for the part where I tried to shift my weight and made us all fall off the tube...yes Tyson too! he was fine Joel had him above the water and Tyson was wrapped right around Joel's head. it was so funny! He (tyson) was a little unsure at first but when we brought him back into the boat was pretty upst. Its so awesome to have a kid that loves the water so much. ..maybe even too much!

Saturday morning was kinda fun too. Sheleen adn I woke up Stel and Shea with a friendly splash of water! Shea was way nicer about it then Sterl! I thought Sheleen knew him better. And had some type of an idea of what kind of a "pandora's box" she was going to open. Lets just say... Its nice to play the prego card every once in a while! So Saturday was kind of full with Sheleen and Sterl and thier "love spats" i have to admit all the rest of us got a kick out of it!

Anyways, by about 4:00 Sunday afternoon i realized that this pregnant mama had taken one too many boat rides and was a little afraid of putting myself into labour so I spent the rest of the night and all of today trying to take it as easy as possible. I am definatley feeling some moving and shaking going on and i really don't want to go early so i think i'll be takin it pretty easy for the next little while. Anyways, I'm off to bed.

Never a Dull Moment!!

Hey All, I thought I would update you on my exciting weekend. I FINALLY GOT A NEW COMPUTER!!!! This is like revival in the Webster house. I'm not sure what i'll do with all my free time of not having to wait for a window to open and close and who woulda thunk when you click on a page you actually go there right away!!
As for things on the family end. I had to go to the hospital on Sunday morning b/c i thought I may be in early labour...I wasnt! it was just a Nasty bladder infection! (your welcome for the details!) but, I am officially 36 weeks so that means I got my papers and technically i can have the baby any time. I'm not ready yet though so I'm still all good with the baby being here when its due! Anyways, hope everyone out in Cyber space has a great week!

Proud Auntie!!!

Hey i don't know if this goes against the blogger code of conduct to post more then one blog in a day but I wanted to tell everyone that my sister in law had her baby this morning (7:04am) in Ontario. He was 8lbs 1oz and they named him Nijel Emmanuel. It means champion and God with us. Mom and baby are doing fine I'm told and big brother Isaiah (5) and sister Rebecca (8) are tickled pink to say the least!! He is so super cute! I have to admit it sucks big time to be this far away at such an exciting time! Well just wanted to share the happy news now i have to go out and buy him some clothes!!!

Bragging Rights!!

Words can't express the pride I felt when I started to see my little sprouts!! This is probably like end of Juneish i think.

This picture is from like mid June i think. This was my watermelon plant that i was so excited about.....turns out it was just a big huge weed or something!! I thought my hopes as a gardener were dashed!

This picture is from Monday!!! Check out all that crazy growth!
Okay, so since I am new at this I only think its fair that I back track a little and let you all in on my little summe venture... A garden! Yes, I know most of you that know me are laughing but stand back and be truly amazed because the pictures you see infront of you really are from my own backyard!! There...growing in our clay like dirt is...peas, corn, beans, squash, beets, onions, cucumber and rhubarb! Now, i am by no means saying I have all this gardening stuff down pat. Actually, Joel has to be close by when i have to weed because i have been know to pull out the veggies instead of the weeds. A problem if you ask my mom and dad i have always had! Anyways, i never knew how rewarding it would be. So, all you out there that think it can't be done or your thumb is too black hey, if i can do it you can do it!!! Mom and Dad, don't worry i put some beans in the freezer so when you are out here you can try them and be truly amazed at the talents and learnings of your prarie princess daughter!

I'm On The Map Now!!!

Well, This will be fun! I have never had anything like this before and i must admit i'm really excited to be able to show off my awesome family at he click of a mouse! I have to give my kudos to Emily for setting me up on this handy little thing. Well for all those people that find me by clicking randomly through a website let me give you a little history. And for all those that know me but could use a little refresher course let me entertain you...

My name is Alesha Webster. I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (basically the armpit of Canada!) But i'm praying one day i will move back to the centre of the universe Ontario (home sweet home!!) where I was born and raised. I have been happily married to my awesome husband Joel for 3 years (and 5 months to be exact) We have a little boy named Tyson. (the cute kid in the pic!) He will be 2 on the first of September. He is a joy and a handful! And i am 8 months pregnant. It has been a very hot summer so I am looking forward to this little person being outside!! We have no idea if its a boy or a girl and we have no names picked out. I know, we need to get on the ball!

We own our own business. it is a carpet and upholstery cleaning (Chem-Dry of Saskatoon) and also a business called Imperial Rotobrush its furnace and duct cleaning. We have owned this for about a year and a half and its great but also a huge challenge! We run from our house so you can imagine that there is never really a dull moment.

As for my dreams, hopes and aspirations. My biggest goal is to fullfill the call of God on my life and our life as the Webster family. to have a strong marriage. To raise God fearing and obedient children and to sing! I would also love for my house to stay clean for more then a day and for Joel to not walk on the floor with his dirty shoes right after I finished mopping it! i have lots of dreams, desires and hopes but i think those are better left in my heart then on a blog page! Well I think that is enough for one entry! i sure hope i can figure out the spell check on this thing! I look forward to being able to keep in touch with people over this handy little web page. so please don't make yourself a stranger!!
