Week at a Glance

Well, the first week is over and I'm happy to say as a parent of 2 boys I made it! Actually, I had a ton of help! I have been feeling pretty good for the most part but had a little set back in my recovery when I sat down a little funny and did a little damage! NOT FUN!!! not enough ibuprofin in the world for that bad boy!!! You know I almost think that people think that when you have a fast labour that somehow its less work or strain on your body...Well, I have news for you...ITS NOT!!! this recovery seems to be taking a little longer I think with Tyson I felt better right away but then again my mom and dad were here right away with Tyson. And, i do have 2 kids thins time around. I just find I'm way more emotional and really tired.
Tyson is doing AMAZING as a big brother he is really helpful and always wants to see Jackson. He's only tried to squish his head once so I thought that was good. Jackson is doing well too. we have our first Dr.'s appt tomorrow so we will see how much he weighs and all that jazz. His nights are a little rough we have had a few good ones but more bad ones. Sometimes he is up every hour and that gets a little exhausting. but I think we may be just about on a 4 hr. schedule so here is hoping that tonight is a better night.
My mom and dad get here on Tuesday morning and man, I can't wait! i'm a little nervous about tomorrow its my first day with both the boys by myself. well, Joel only has a job in the morning but I'm still a little slow getting around and I'm not suppose to pick up Tyson yet so it will be interesting!
As for things in the business world... Things are a little slow for Chem-Dry but our Rotobrush (furnace and duct cleaning) is starting to pick up. The new phone book just came out so we will see the benifits of that real soon. People tend to get this done around now and in the winter so we are hoping that it carries us through the slower months with Chem-Dry. If you think to pray for us totally pray for the business. I want to be done working but that's not really to much of an option when things are slow and not to mention I would have a hard time not being involved at all. I like being on the phones but man, if i never had to look at Quickbooks again it would be too soon! Anyways, i think I have babbled on long enough. I'll post the weeks pics of the two boys in my link. Have a great week! with my mom and dad getting here I probably won' tpost till they leave so to all my fans just hang tight I will return!

Congrats on surviving the 1st week! I remember the day Jason went back to work and I was TOTALLY ALONE! Unfortunatly, my parents were in town the whole time I was in the hospital...and they left before I went home! Jason took Mon & Tues off, went back to work Wed & Thurs, and stayed home Friday and the weekend! Monday morning he was back to work for good...and I was on my own! I managed...I suppose it was a a bit easier having 2 kids, the same age on the same schedual...and who slept most of the day! I hope that things get better for you in the sleep department and in recovery. I cannot sympathize with the recovery, but I hope it gets better!
Have fun with your parents!
Hey sounds like the adventure has begun. Cool pic of the boys. Glad to hear the business is going well. Look forward to hearing about things from mom and dad when they come back!
