The Car-less Week!!

It Sucks having no car but at least Tyson keeps us laughing! He walked into the kitchen a few days ago looked at me and Joel and in an ever so casual tone said "Hey guys, I'm funny." Needless to say me and Joel split a gut.
Well, here we are! Its Wednesday and still NO CAR!! Now that I have calmed down slightly I thought I would tell you all the story of the actual accident since lots of people have been asking.
So on Friday Joel and I and the kids all pilled into the car. (For those of you with kids you know the task this was in and of itself!) We got to the end of our street and Pulled a left onto Circle Drive going West we then pulled into a parking lot on our right hand side (The one with Quiznos in it for all you S'toon folk reading) Joel looked to the right and nothing was there. The parking lot was pretty much empty so its not like he needed to come to a stop. He then made his turn when I turned and looked out the window and saw this kid bookin' it through the p-lot talking to his girlfriend not even looking at the road! I started yelling at joel that we were gonna get hit but by the time Joel moved it was too late and the guy slammed right into JJ's door. To be totally honest i don't even think the kid put on his breaks. I know the parkinglot had snow on it but it wasnt icy and even if it was there was no sound of a slide that would have signified at least an atempt to stop. Needless to say I was having a major mama bear melt down and got out of the car when JJ's door was slammed right into the seat and I couldnt open the door i was screaming "GET MY BABY OUTTA THIS CAR NOW!!!!!!!!" Joel had to pull him through the front seat. tyson was crying a little but more so b/c it scared him. anyways, the kid was all apologetic and that was making me even more mad b/c of the fact that the p-lot was empty even if he was sliding he could have avoided the accident and if he was paying attention and driving a normal speed it never would have happened. Joel figures he was going at LEAST 45 clicks in a SNOW COVER P-LOT!!!! can you say IDIOT? Anyways, the thing that really burned us was when we came home and Joel called in to make the claim the adjuster said it sounds like its Joel's fault! IT IS TOTALLY NOT!!! not only that she says they don't take speed into account b/c you cant prove it. So, needless to say Joel got pretty worked up. he was calm and polite to the lady but told her that he knows its not his fault and will take whatever means are nesessary to prove that he is innocent. for a lot of reasons. 1st if its his fault we have to pay our deductible and the kids, 2nd its 6 points on Joel's license and 3rd and most important ITS NOT HIS FAULT!! The thing that sucks is the kid admited at the accident that its was his fault but what we think is happened is when he told the story they said it would be our fault and he wont fess up to not watching or how fast he was going. so please pray that they will really look into this case and take all the factors into account b/c they are all very crucial to this situation. Anyways, we know that God is in control and that we will do whatever we need to however, its really annoying having no car its put a hold on our christmas shopping!! Besides that all is well business is going well and I am so excited that we're doing the duct thing I think the sooner we can branch that off the better! Anyways, i'm off to shop on E-BAY have a great day and have fun deckin' your halls!

Big Angels!

So i don't know if you can tell from the dirt but my awesome car got totally nailed today! Joel, me and the boys were in the car when this punk kid was too busy talking to his girlfriend and driving like 30 klicks in a parking lot to pay attention to the fact that we were right there. Joel was driving. He slammed into JJ's side of the car and the window popped right out. All of us are fine. Thanks to our great angels. man, being saved sure dooes come with alot of benifits! J.J has a few little scrathes on his face from the glass. The boys cried a little bit but i think it more scared them. I was freaking out when i realized i couldnt open JJ's door to check on him. I thought i was gonna drive my car clean over that kid! The really annoying thing is that it could have been totally avoided if he had his eyes on the road. and also the fact that we cant take our car in to see an adjuster until Dec 4!!! That's not even including how long it will take them to fix it. Anyways, that totally ruined my day so i thought i would share it with the world!

Just Another Wednesday.

I know this is a blurry picture but every time I look at it I laugh so, i thought I would share it with the world. Isaiah looks so funny and Nigel looks like he is punching him in the chin.
Anyways, today was another normal day in the Webster house. I got another 10 hours out of JJ again last night so that was a nice treat! He had to get his 2 month immunization today so that was a little sad. My little sumo baby is weighing in at 13.5lbs! Tyson is getting funnier by the day. He is busy but usually a pretty good boy. He has taken to calling Joel "Joel" its kinda funny but we always correct him. He knocked on the bathroom door when Joel was in the shower and ever so politely said "Joel..hurry up!" I laughed pretty hard. This has also been a decent week. Every mother out there loves the 20th its like a little payday for being a mom (child tax) anywyas JJ is on it now and they give you the month they missed then I got the other cheque with that month they missed so we had some extra cash that we sipped right into our savings account. Yup a few more dollars closer to the sunny Dominican!! I can't wait! I would be more excited if the sight of me in a bathing suit didnt resemble that of a beached beluga whale! but, i'm getting there. I started a post-natal aquafit class and man can you feel the burn! Who knew you sweat in the water!
As for theHoliday spirit its slowly creeping into the house. I wish i could totally deck out my halls but due to the lack of space i'm not sure if i will put up our tree or not. We are about hlf done our shopping too so that is nice. The malls are a complete zoo. Here here for the whole picking names thing! I just wish people would get their list out...I'm not one to talk though b/c mine isnt ready either. anyways, this was kinda boring so instead of babbing i'm gonna go. I can't even entertain you with some cool photoshopped pics thats Paul's dept! Anyways, I'm gonna go play Thomas the Tank with Tyson Joel is working late again! Geesh! his boss is a real slave driver!...no wait! i'm a nice person....a nice person who likes to spend money so he has to go make lots of it! MMWA HA HA!!! just joking!
Peace Out!

Blast From The Past.

Before I even begin I need to say that last night I had 8 straight hours of sleep! It was amazing! J.J went for 10 hours last night. Its every mother's dream now I just hope it becomes a habit. Also, for all those wondering Joel and I have decided to stay in Saskatoon for Christmas. Being we have to be there in February for the Chem-Dry convention and the trip with mom and dad to the Dominican we will just come for like 3 weeks or so. It sucks but spending $1800 at Christmas and then another $1800 two months later is kinda nuts. Anyways, I was driving home from some errands a few days ago listening to the radio when this Michael W Smith song came on. It was like the hazy lines you see on tv when people are remembering the past. All the sudden I was at my 13th Birthday Party at the Forum roller skating rink for the Christian skate night. Me and Cherry were extatic b/c we had just finished a couple skate to "That's What Love Is For" by Amy Grant with what we believed at the time to be our soul mates (Steven Flaming for her and Ben Fleming for me) They held our hand and not just ANY way..no, the BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND WAY!!!!*insert 13 year old girl scream here!* its funny all these years later and when I hear that song I am totally taken back to that moment. Anyways, listening to this old school Michael W Smith made me think back over all the people that I knew and went to school with and so I decided I would start to hunt them down. I found old school buddy Becky Ellis (now Tacoma) and we chatted it up for a few hours. We had actually talked about 3 1/2 years ago so we were semi in touch with eachother's lives. The really crazy part was when I found one of my old classmates from Elementary school. we went to high school together too. For all my family wondering it was Heather Barnett (now Hack) She is doing great. It was so fun to talk to her. The best part is that she still talks to the other girls I graduated with so when we are home in February we are gonna try and all get together. I can't wait that will be so fun! Anyways, it totally made my day and it really made me think that if people pop into your head...FIND THEM! To anyone out there that may read this and i don't know post and say Hi. I have realized that your heart is made up by people's footprints. Some are good and some are bad but they all play a part in making you. You have so many relationships throughout life some last forever and some don't but never forget them. Some people like to hold onto a grudge but then so much time passes you don't even know what the problem was that started it. Life is too short to have a list of enemies. I know this was kinda outta character for me but I really did have an amazing day and I am so happy to know that I will be able to reconnect with these girls that i havent talked to in 10 years!!! man, i feel old! well in closing think on this... Love like you've never been hurt, Sing like no one can hear you, and Dance like no one is watching!

BackTracking!

So, I realized that in the business of me getting off to Ontario undetected. I forgot to Blog about the AWESOME shower I had for Jackson. This is a pic of me eating some of the best dessert in the WORLD!!! i didnt really eat it out of hte bowl but me and Krysta thought it would make a funny picture. Steph Richardson hosted it and it was perfect lots of food, lots of laughs and NO GAMES!! really gosh I hate shower games. Anywas, we were totally blessed with some really cute outfits, a picture frame that is super cute, a dvd and some other little nick nacks like lotions and washes for J.J The other awesome part was were given $280 in total so we could buy a tandem stroller. Its like the SUV of strollers. its huge but so handy! Tyson calls it his bus. It makes going out so much easier (although i have yet to venture out with both boys by myself yet!)

Today was a better day. I think Tyson may be getting his molars in and that is part of the reason he has been a little on the challenging side (well, a little more then normal.) But last night was fun Joel, Sterl, Sheleen and myself all went to Montana's for dinner. (Not having to make dinner is always a treat) and then we went and saw the movie "Stranger then Fiction" i am a huge Will Farrell fan I mean "ELF" is one of the funniest movies EVER! it was really good though 2 thumbs way up! Today was a pretty normal day and we did the usual running around tonight. Joel worked a little late so we didnt make it to church. We went to Superstore to get our family pics back but they didnt look very good. Being they had already tried to fix them They decided to rebook our sitting. Here's hoping this is a better experience. Anyways, I should go I am drinking my Mango Chamomile tea and listening to the hum of my washing machine...Sounds relaxing I know but Joel is upstairs with both boys and it just seems a little too quiet! Until next time...Cheers!

What A Trip!

This is Nigel and Jackson. What a fun trip I had! I think the best part was how much time i got to spend with Michelle. (and the Kareoke!)I loved staying at her house. She would come in and get JJ the moment he made a peep so it was nice i got to sleep in a few mornings. And she took me shopping and bought me an awesome pair of boots. the best part was it was buy one get one free! Elysa (Michelle's friend and roomate) is a ton of fun too she has successfully gotten me addicted to Hagen Daz Rock Road.. MMM marshmellow swirl of goodness! The trip was fast but it was nice to have a break. The part that really sucked was the delay in winnipeg. thanks to all that aawesome snow! GRRR! Let me tell you holding a 13 lb baby for like 11 hours straight is almost a death sentence! I thought my arms were gonna fall off. I came home to Joel and Tyson at the gate some nice flowers and a pretty clean house. Joel has had a efw days off so that was nice. The weekend was a bummer though being neither of our CFL teams are in the Grey Cup this year. But on a happy note! I joined the gym! Yup! goodbye fatty hello hotness!! I'm all excited too b/c the guy has aqua boxersise and a post-natal aquafit class. Besides that Tyson was a handful and a half today I know I should never take for granted what I have but man, somedays motherhood is more fun then others! this was definatley an other day. its so nice to have Joel around so much I seriously don't know how single parents do it. Oh well, even with the hard days children are a blessing. Well, i should go i can hear Tyson running around up in his room.(He should be sleeping) so i need to get him in his bed then i think i'll make myself some chai tea and watch a few episodes of Friends (gotta love tv on dvd!)
have a great night!

25 Years and Going Strong!!!!

Congrats Mamba and Daddio on 25 years!!! (i'll post some pics later) So this post is coming from the dining room table of Michelle's house. YUP! i'm home! and man, there is no place like home. Michelle flew me home for their anniversay party. No one knew i was here except Michelle, Elysa and Heather I was hidden away at Heather's until Friday night. It wa fun I actually felt like I was still out West with a typical night of pizza, AW rootbeer (no coke!) and Friends and coffee. Then Michelle came home and I went to her house. Yes, I got my Swiss Chalet for dinner! No matter how fast a trip I am on I ALWAYS make time for Swiss Chalet. Michelle put on a killer event as usual. It was in the room at Del Dante's (a super awesome steak house) Michelle opened the night by taking a leap and singing mom and dad's wedding song then, I walked in to the small room singing the chorus of "you light up my life" mom and dad's wedding song. Mom and Dad's face was so classic. So, was everyone else's Dad pulled a total home alone with both hands on his face and his jaw on the table and Mom did the typical bawlling her eyes out. Natalie made a killer set of CD's of love songs from the 80's. and Nelson and Paul made a super funny video that was suppose to be about mom and dad but kinda was about all us kids and a few random pics. However as usual they were an absolute riot. Then the icing on the cake was when we came back and ked up the kareoke!! Yes Shania Twain, Grease, and Abba plus much more!!! Does it really get any better then that?! Even my dad sang! There are some classic videos that you'll need to stay tuned for. It would have been nice if Joel and Tyson were here too but it was so great to get to be here for it I miss out on alot of the family functions and this was one I would not have wanted to.

I had a nice visit with Pastor & Mrs. Power and Jason & Emily, in Woodstock. It was nice to see them all again (even though I JUST saw the Powers 2 weeks ago!).

I'm here till Wednesday so have alot to get in, in just a few days. See ya back in Toon Town.
