I WIN THE CRAZY MONTH AWARD!!!

| This chair is called a BUMBO its the BEST baby invention EVER!!! this was a group gift to JJ from our circle of friends and I totally love it! so does he b/c he can always be part of the action but doesn't have to be laying down!

Well, let me start off by saying Merry Christmas! I know people are probably wondering where my blogging spirit had gone but i will get to that in a second. I would love to blame it on the hiustle and bustle of Christmas or even the busy schedule of Chem-Dry and Rotobrush. However, I'm stuck blaming it on a shortage of nerves and a bad case of the willies!
I hope everyone had a great holiday with family and friends and took time to remeber the reason we celebrate. I must say this was by far the funest Christmas with Tyson. He was having a blast opening his gifts and wanting to play with each one as he opened it. He got a pretty good haul! with a rocking horse from Joel's parents that moves its head and tail and "neigh's" its pretty cool. a John Deere combine from Uncle Aaron (to go along with the tractor he bought him last year!) some super cute clothes from Auntie Tamara all the way from Austrailia and the 5 Veggie tales from Auntie Michelle! it goes great with the huge veggie Tales Pirate's who don't do anything ship my parents got him! not to mention all the other clothes and toys he got from mom and dad, Jeff, Sterl & Sheleen and Alicia! yup we have one styling 2 year old! I love it! JJ got a decent haul as well of Toys and clothes. Joel got me an Ipod for christmas so I am pretty stoked about that. We finially spent a day at home today (well, we did go out for about an hour!) But we spent most of the day cleaning and doing laundry and Tyson played with all his new toys. We FINALLY took our car in to be fixed so that should be done by Friday we hope. that whole ordeal is still up in the air but its not looking too good. We contacted an accident specialist and he says that since we were turning left it doesnt matter if the kid was going 5 kms or 100. so that is crappy news and super frusterating being he could have seriously hurt one of my kids! but i think Joel may still try and fight it.

Now to the reason that if there is an award for the craziest month it should go to me!
About a week ago i was cleaning the room in the basement. I was putting away some maternity clothes when I couldnt get the big hamper back into the closet. i was trying to figure out why when i looked on the ground i found all this shedded paper i had a stick in my hand (THANK GOD!!) when i found all these brown lumps on the ground. Trying to figure out what it was I moved in a bit closer. Then I realized i had stumbled accross a nest of 5 DEAD baby mice! Words can't express what went off inside me as i started screaming my bloody heady off and ran upstairs. I jumped onto the counter and called joel in a nearly hystarical stae. I couldnt even get the words out all i said was "come home now!!" He was worried somethig was worng with me and the boys but i assured him we were fine By this point i had reached a full out panic and for those of you that don't know how i would react in this kind of a situation i actually laugh...not b/c its funny but b/c i'm scared out of my witts! Joel finally got home and I hadn't moved from the counter. When he came in I couldnt even get the words out. I now know the real meaning of "THE WILLIES!" Joel was trying to figure out what was wrong in between the tears and the screams and with a calm voice he said "Alesha, let me help you...do you waqnt to go outside and tell me?" with that he tried to take me off the counter...let's just say this was not a wise move! Shereeks of terror were released as i clutched on to his neck and told him not to put me on the floor. finially, by him asking all the right questions and him using the reaction he got out of me as his "yes or no" key He went downstaris to take care of things then went right to Home Depot and bought some traps. its been about a week and we have nothing so that is good news. and it doesnt seem they were even here for very long nothing is wrecked so thats another good thing. But, needless to say it took me a while to muster up the nerve to come downstairs! i wouldnt even do payroll for the guys! So yes, if there is an award or a charity for the craziest month sign me up! oh wait, i almost forgot...Christmas morning Joel almost lit the house on fire!..well, okay that is an exageration... But i had bought him an electric razor as one of his gifts and he was in the bathroom taking it out of the package and i was on the phone with mom and dad I could smell burning and was checking the stove and oven to try and figure out what was going on . When i walked down the hall the box and my hand towel were up in flames! Needless to say joel is grounded from candle lighting for the next while!
Well, our car went in on Wednesday..finally we are driving a fairly nice truck for the time being...fun but not exactly a family car. Anyways, i think that is a good summary of life at the Websters over the past few days.

TERRIFIC TWO'S

Yes, the wonderful world of a 2 year old little boy. Tyson was playing in JJ's room (he usually does this) i checked on him and he was just laying on the floor playing with his cars and singing along to his veggie tales CD. Then he comes out of the room like this. "lotion on my cheeks?" I couldnt get mad. I mean if i walked into the room and he had put the penaten cram all over everything then i would have been mad but i just started laughing my head off. (Sheleen got the camera!) at least its not in his hair was the main concern b/c i don't know how many of you have tried to get zinc outta hair but its just about impossible!! no sooner did the thought cross my mind then into his hair went his zinc covered hand!! So, off to the tub we go. tyson is thrilled about this b/c he loves bath time...I on the other hand is dreading trying to figure out how to get the zinc out. so, the process begins...one wash with J&J baby shampoo the zinc didnt budge...it was like it was laughing at me in mockery... so, i took out the adult shampoo and with a hard wash...it kinda faded! so i did it again...again, a little more progress. "this si gonna take all day" i thought to myself then i had the brilliant idea...BABY OIL!!! zinc is no match!! and yess it came out...ALL OF IT!! then after 4 more washes with the adult shampoo (well one was conditioner) I was finish...now i am just stuck with one greasy 2 year old!!oh well, it could have been worse!
In other Webster news...Joel and I are going to court now b/c of that stupid accident! the kid TOTALLY lied!! First he said the ting about how our car hit his truck but he also said he was going 15-20 and slammed on the breaks!!!! Like...DUH! MY DOOR IS SLAMMED INTO MY CAR AND I HAVE NO WINDOW!!!but ya, you were going slow and paying attention! anyways, he (the kid) is all mad and thinks Joel is bluffing so this will be exciting.
As for what else is new... I have 1 more gift to buy and a million to wrap! but i like the wrapping part. The closer we get to Christmas the more sad i get that i wont be home for it. I'm kinda a family girl! Anyways, this is kinda boring but i thought y'all wouold want to hear about my zincofax toddler!

EEEEK A MOUSE!!!

Ya okay, I know you are thinking that our month couldn't get any crazier....well, think again!
So yesterday Joel had to work for part of the day then he was home and cleaning up outside. he brought in a bag to throw in the garbage.(Why he didn't just throw it out in the big can outside is beyond me!) when I hear Joel make a noise that sounded like something caught him off guard. I go into the kitchen to see what is going on and he doesn't want to tell me what he thinks he saw. But, i can tell from his distraction that he wasn't gonna take his eyes off the ground any time soon. So finally he tells me that he htinks he may have let a mouse into the house. Words any wife wants to hear. So, being the brave mother that i am i figured the best place for me to be was locked in Tyson's room with him...You know, so i can make sure he is okay and stuff!! Anyways, Alicia was over and i'm not really sure how but she ended up being Joel's faithful assistant in the mouse trapping. All Tyson and I could hear was Joel tell Alicia to go to the garage and get him his shovel! then there were sounds of "There it is!!" and the odd crash and bang to follow. Finally, Joel got it. The kitchen was in a state that made me want to cry but hey, the mosue was dead (the blood on the floor was all the evidence I needed) I just looked at Joel, looked at the mess and walked away. He cleaned it all up and hey, i got my kitchen floor washed out of it! Later that night we decided to go to the "Connect"(our young adults group) christmas party. Joel and I haven't gone to any of the things they have yet... I don't know something about abunch of grown adults dressed up like Hillbillys is a little too much for me! It was a fun night we played Taboo and Mad gab but to be honest I was right POed about the child care situation so I'm doubtful I will go back anytime soon.( at least with the boys) and i had fun hanging out with Shena and Cory. They are a blast. Tyson and their son Keagen have a play date on Thursday! But the perfect ending of my day was sitting down with my Chai tea and starting season 5 of 24. You wanna talk about intense!!! It ROCKED! i can't wait for tonight to see what happens.. Here is to TV on DVD!!!!!!
Well, I just got back from the mall. Me and Sheleen(Sterl's girl friend) went shopping. She is a lot of fun i really love her. we had fun shopping for our men. well, just a few more gifts to buy then we are done. Then comes the wrapping...or gift bagging should I say!
well, have a good night all I should go make my family some dinner

Another One Bites the Dust!

Well, what a day! we heard back from SGI about the car and they are saying Joel is at fault! GRRR this is so stupid b/c #1: He is NOT and #2 now we have to go to small claims court. Just to give you an idea of what this kid said in his statement " i was driving and the car pulled in and didnt yeild to the right and his car hit my truck" he said "his car hit my truck about 3 times....now if you saw the pics you would be thinking WOW i never knew Joel and Alesha had a magic car!! Well neither did we but apparently we must b/c i have never heard of a car that drove SIDEWAYS!!! Stupid Punk kid i wanna take a bat to his truck! Anyways enough venting. We will fight this as far as we need to!
Also this morning Joel and I had to get a medical done b/c of our insurance so we both had to fast for our needle. The lady came at 9:30 so it was nice we didnt have to go the whole day with out eating. Anyways, all was going well i got my needle and was sitting there with JJ on my lap and Joel got his. Joel was sitting there talking baby talk to JJ when all the sudden he hit the floor like a ton of bricks. Yup, he fainted! At first I thought he was joking but the nurse was kinda freaking out. Tyson started crying and said" Daddy on the floor?" I was a little freaked out too he was grey and seemed like he was out for about a good minute and a half to two.( For those of you that don't know when its your husband on your dining room floor it feels like hours!) he finally came too and was wondering why he was on the floor! He is totally fine but his neck hurts from falling so hard. I must admit though like the good wife i am i have pretty much made fun of him all day. Later on we went to the mall and i got a few more gifts. We're getting there slowly but surely! Then we took Tyson to the pool and i finally put up my tree (i'll try to post a pic of it but its hard with all the lights even with no flash)
Well i should get ready for bed i have a ton of stuff to do tomorrow and I'm totally stoked to start season 5 of 24. yes Jack Bauer is the MAN!! Well Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight!

Santa Baby

I know I know I'm a geek! I dress my boy up in little suits that one day he will look at and totally want to kill me but i can't help it!! He is too cute and I figure i worked hard to bring him into this world i could put him in anything i want!

Well what a day! We still have no car but thanks to Joel's parents we have one for the next day or two! I had a totally unproductive day. As you know from a previous blog I have been all about finding the old contacts. This really has been a ton of fun for me and today I spent 169 minutes talking to an old friend (Melanie Guay use to be Braga) It was so fun holy man did i laugh alot!Its nice to knwo that there is another person out there that understands the life of a 2 year old boy... and to think she has 2! Well may the force be with us all! To all you moms out there we can do this! Actually I love this mom thing. Tyson never ceases to amaze me or make me laugh....However, when i was on the phone with Mel and her son was crying when Mel asked what was wrong he said that his friend "stabbed him with his long toe nails" Like how many 3 yr olds talk like that? i realized when i hung up with her...not only did i have cauliflower ear but the fun is only just beginning.

Last night was a total blast too. i was online and had a little Crestwike reunion with Heather and Melanie. The 3 of us had alot of memoreis to recap on. i spent the next while laughing and telling Joel a whole bunch of stories about people he doesn't know. he did a good job of pretending he was interested. He is a great guy!

As for the whole deckiong of the Webster halls... It still needs to be done. i got this great idea to make Joel a gift on the computer and its taking a million years. but it will be worth it when its done. Maybe I'll put it as a link..(Or should i say i'll get Em to do it. who am i kidding i have no idea how all this web stuff works and nor do i really care to.) I will be sure to post a pic of my tree as some one has commented that it sounds ugly (yes Melanie you and now that i know you read this i have no problem addressing you! So feel free to feel proud you made it to the BLOG!)

I should go though I have a wack load of gifts to wrap and get off to Ontario for the family. Our shopping is pretty much done we hope to finish it off this weekend Anyhoo, be sure to check out my Pictutre link i have added some pics and some great video of Tyson.

Man, Can I Feel The Burn!

WOW!!! can I feel that aqua fit! I guess that's a good thing I mean what do they say? "No Pain No Gain!" Anyways, all is well in the Webster House (weird I wrote DUNK at first!) anyways, Joel finally got to take the car in to the adjuster today but they haven't made a final call on who is at fault so Please PRAY!! We will know by Wednesday. The other thing now is we can't take it in to the shop to be fixed until December 28th!! Ya, that makes for an annoying Chrismas season. Oh well no point in complaining it won't fix the car. Joel and I have got a good amount of shopping done so that is nice now i get to wrap them! that's fun to me. I have to get his stuff but I don'tknwo what to get him yet. Tyson was fun to shop for he is at that age where presents and toys are fun we had a good time in Toy's R Us on Sunday!Anyways, I dont have much to say I just wanted to put up some pics of the boys. JJ is getting HUGE!!! but he is so happy and Tyson is doing awesome. what can i say life is good and I love being a mom!
