Week at a Glance

Well, the first week is over and I'm happy to say as a parent of 2 boys I made it! Actually, I had a ton of help! I have been feeling pretty good for the most part but had a little set back in my recovery when I sat down a little funny and did a little damage! NOT FUN!!! not enough ibuprofin in the world for that bad boy!!! You know I almost think that people think that when you have a fast labour that somehow its less work or strain on your body...Well, I have news for you...ITS NOT!!! this recovery seems to be taking a little longer I think with Tyson I felt better right away but then again my mom and dad were here right away with Tyson. And, i do have 2 kids thins time around. I just find I'm way more emotional and really tired.
Tyson is doing AMAZING as a big brother he is really helpful and always wants to see Jackson. He's only tried to squish his head once so I thought that was good. Jackson is doing well too. we have our first Dr.'s appt tomorrow so we will see how much he weighs and all that jazz. His nights are a little rough we have had a few good ones but more bad ones. Sometimes he is up every hour and that gets a little exhausting. but I think we may be just about on a 4 hr. schedule so here is hoping that tonight is a better night.
My mom and dad get here
on Tuesday morning and man, I can't wait! i'm a little nervous about tomorrow its my first day with both the boys by myself. well, Joel only has a job in the morning but I'm still a little slow getting around and I'm not suppose to pick up Tyson yet so it will be interesting!
As for things in the business world... Things are a little slow for Chem-Dry but our Rotobrush (furnace and duct cleaning) is starting to pick up. The new phone book just came out so we will see the benifits of that real soon. People tend to get this done around now and in the winter so we are hoping that it carries us through the slower months with Chem-Dry. If you think to pray for us totally pray for the business. I want to be done working but that's not really to much of an option when things are slow and not to mention I would have a hard time not being involved at all. I like being on the phones but man, if i never had to look at Quickbooks again it would be too soon! Anyways, i think I have babbled on long enough. I'll post the weeks pics of the two boys in my link. Have a great week! with my mom and dad getting here I probably won' tpost till they leave so to all my fans just hang tight I will return!

Jackson Joel Robert Webster (J.J)

Well, who woulda thought that while I was typing my last blog we would have gone to the hospital that night! I think i said that my contractions were about 15 mins apart. Well, by the time i went to bed they were about 10 but still not that strong. I actually told Joel's parents that we could get Tyson b/c I didnt think anything was gonna happen and i didnt want to cry wolf too many times! but Joel' s mom said they would keep him over night...good thing! At 3:30am I woke up with a super strong contraction and I kinda felt a little nervous about being at home so I woke up Joel and we left for the hospital. When we got there at about 4:00 we called Jude (our coach and my personal hero! I could never do it without her!!) By the time she got there I was checked and 3 cm dialated! Woo Hoo I thought this is already better then my labour with Tyson! I was in assesment and they wanted to get me into labour and delivery but they were not in any rush. my contractions were getting ALOT stronger and I was feeling as though things may be going alot faster then anyone was thinking (myself included!) Then it happened...the urge to push...there was no stopiing it. I was panting like a dog and yelling "house" to try and stop but i could'nt!! the nurse got me into a wheelchair and took off in a sprint to the labour room where I took a strong liking to being on the floor on my hands and knees.... but they don't look very highly on giving birth on the floor so they got me into the bed and he was here very quick after that. Jackson was born 5 days early at 6:32 am and weighed 7lbs 2oz and was 19" long. It was so fast it rocked! I had no drugs and even watched the birth. The hospital stay was good (except at the very start when I was put in a semi private room with a woman who snored like a orse! and her cell phone rang every 10 mins!) but that was only for a few hours then we were moved to a private room (after I cried to the nurse!) then we were moved one more time to the Victorian suite! Its so nice it has a queen size bed, a Huge bathroom, leather loveseat and chair with extra chairs and a table a nice big t.v and tons of space. They are more expensive but with our coverage we only had to pay $20.00 to stay in it! it was fun...i kinda felt like a movie star! Tyson is pretty thrilled he is all about hugging him and calls him J.J. he is gonna make a great big brother. I know people were giving us grief about how long it takes us to name our children but forever is a long time and I want to know the name is perfect.

Jackson means full of personality
Joel means Yahweh is God
Robert means brilliant ; renowned

I gotta admit comming home with 2 kids is a little scary. My parents can't get here fast enough!!!
But i did come home to a house that my mother in law cleaned so that was a nice treat! And she cleaned my oven!! a task I have been trying to get Joel to do for the past 9 months! Well, all is well in the Webster home. we will be sure to keep lots of pics on here. there are some on our pictures link. for some reason they won't load onto this page so be sure you check 'em out!
Well, both my boys are sleeping so I should take some advantage of this and go have a nap!

My Life at 39 weeks!!!

Okay, so I'm not biast but come on!!! Is this kid cute or what?!!! I can't tell you how funny he is getting! its like everyday there is more and more words he is saying and more and more personality is being revealed. Seriously, I can't think of anything I like more then being a parent. Speaking of being a parent I think #2 is getting ready to make his/her entrance into this world! I gotta admit, I never take being pregnant for granted even for a second but man, will I be glad when this is done! My stomach looks like a road map and these contractions hurt! Not to mention that I would like to be able to get up off the floor with out grunting and gasping for air! I do think things are moving and shaking though but I will keep all the gross details out of this entry (if that disappoints anyone feel free to ask!) Well, this has been a pretty good weekend. Joel bought me a wicked camera for my birthday. So, I am pretty pumped about it. (those pics of Tyson are off of it.) Tyson spent the day and maybe the night with Joel's parents b/c i thought this labour thing would have progressed by now. Oh well I'm sure they don't mind its harvest time so they don't get to see him too often. I think Joelis nesting! I had a list of things for him to do and man when he gets going there is nothing that can stop him! Actually, as I type this he is upstairs cleaning the carpet in the baby's room, the upholstery and the dining room chairs. i know, my man rocks! And he cleaned up the basement and the laundry room so well you could eat off the floor in there! He is a huge help I really am blessed! Anyways, i don't really have too much to talk about. i hope that I'm not on here for a while b/c i am too busy having a baby but if not then I'll be back!!!!!

Week At A Glance

Okay, so it has been a while since I have updated everyone on my life so i thought I would take advantage of Tyson's nap time and do this...even though I want to go to sleep too! (talk about a die hard!) Well, let's see...Saturday Joel and I went to Jason's wedding it was beautiful and tons of fun. (a little too much country music for Joel) Cindy looked beautiful and Jason looked like a real prince and they were both glowing with how excited they were. During the ceremony and reception Joel and I had a few hours to ourselves so we went and were test driving some SUV's it was fun but I think I'm still stuck on the Acura MDX unless we come into a lot more money then I would have to go for the Mercedes! but $100,000 vehicle isnt really in our price range this month! We won't be buying one right away but its always fun to look.

Monday was my birthday...27! I have mixed emotions about this whole age/ getting older thing but since there is no way to stop it then I might as well enjoy the ride! It was a relaxing day. Joel had the day off and made me crepes for breakfast (and then did the dishes!!) then we hung around home for a while then just him and i went to the mall to look at cameras. I need a new digital ours is pretty much dead. Then, we went for an early supper to east Sides and then to a movie. After the movie we had some people over for a fire and I got presents!!! Friends dvd's!! truly the gift that keeps giving! so I was really excited. all in all it was a great day.

last night I had some girls over we do this thing once a month where we go to someones house and just eat and visit. it use to be a clothing club but its different now. it was fun...i laughed alot...but then again Arwen was there so that is kinda to be expected. i had high hopes that she would make me laugh myself into labour but no such luck!
I'm stil very much pregnant and I had a Dr. appt yesterday. She said everything looks good the baby has dropped but no signs of labour as of yet. she said if I can make it to next week then she will look at helping things along. I'm not gonna go overdue b/c mom and dad are gonna come out so i want to take advantage of the help. My Dr. ROCKS!!
As for the wasp situation...well, they are still dying ...its so creepy! but at least they will be all gone soon.

I think that is about the extent of my week and all the excitement. until next time!

Wonderful Weekend!!!

Okay, so I know I have been off line for a while so this one has the potential to be long because..well, I have alot to say! I'll put some pics on later b/c i havent taken them off my camera and I am waiting on getting some from Shea and Alicia from Tyson's party. Anyways, Our family weekend was AWESOME!!! just what I wanted. no distractions, no tv and phones just the 3 of us. We had great weather and the water was cold but we still all swam. We went paddle boating and for a canoe ride to the other side of the lake. Tyson even sat still!!! Then on Monday Sterl, Sheleen, Shea, Neesh, Andy, and Alicia came out and we had a birthday party for Tyson. It was great. he is starting to clue in about presents and baloons and cake! So he was in a great mood. I think I'm officially ready for this baby. I had my family weekend, the baby's room is ready to go, walls are washed, Tyson has settled into his new room (he already broke a drawer from his new dresser and i'm not sure if Joel can fix it...grrrr) the guest room is ready for my mom and dad and I don't think I can get any bigger!! i feel like my skin is gonna get a run in it! I feel pretty good. No contractions or anything infact i even think the braxton hicks have slowed down. but thats okay i'm not in a rush to go early

Last night (Wednesday) was awesome we had an old friend come over for dinner Jason Lizotte for all you S'toon people you know who he is for all you others, he is one of the first people I met when I moved here to go to FCI we were super good friends and infact he is the guy that introduced me to Joel! Anyways, we saw him last about 3 1/2 years ago. he is getting married on Saturday and Joel and I are thrilled to go to the wedding. His fiance is beautiful, and really funny. I wish they lived closer b/c we would hang out with them (they will be living in Edmonton) But it was great to see them and catch up on old times.

A gross peice of info for all of you is my basement is just about infested with wasps!!! now for all of you that know me you can imagine how well this is going over! There is a stupid nest outside the house and we know where about it is but can't figure out how they are getting into the b'ment. We seriously have killed/ flushed well over 100!! I called an exterminator today and they never showed up so that made me even more mad! And the lady on the phone told me that there can be as many as 300-500 in a nest!!! crazy huh! So, i hope to be rid of these buggers by tomorrow I'll call them in the morning and get them to come again

Well, i think that about sums up my life for the past few days, i'll add some pics tonight when i clear off my camera so be sure to stay tunned!

PICS HAVE BEEN ADDED CHECK 'EM OUT!!!

Elegant as an Elephant!!!

So, Joel and I spent 4 hours in the hospital last night! I tripped on NOTHING and landed flat on my tummy! but not without twisting my ankle and cutting my leg first! After the fall I still went for my massage but I was having contractions and they were about 30 hr apart. not stong but enough that i felt them. So, i tried to call Joel on his cell...it was dead! so i tried to call our employee's cell...his was dead and charging at his house. So, i felt like i could start to panic being i was feeling this way and unable to get a hold of Joel. I eneded up calling the customer...who ws not at the house where the guys were! So, i explained the situation and she went into a freak of panic! That part was funny! she gave me her neighbours # and i had to call this old lady and get her to go next door so i could talk to Joel. By the time all this had happened Joel had finished the job and left! He got home around 6:00pm (i fell at 2:30) So, by the time i saw him i started crying i think b/c i was trying to stay calm and not panic. So we went to the hospital. when we got there my contractions had picked up and were every 5-8 mins but still not strong or painful. I was kinda freaking out I was for sure not ready to have a baby...kinda needed to get my head in the game! so i was praying things would stop and give me a little more time. Not to mention that today is Tyson's birthday and I wanted to have his party at the lake on Monday. It was kind of ironic being in the same spot 2 years later (the hospital in labour!) but by 10:00pm they said we could go. I slept okay and Joel stayed home for the morning and took care of tyson so I could sleep in so that was awesome! I'm still feeling some contractions but there is no rhyme or reason to them... but they feel stronger then a braxton hick. I guess this is the time when i take it easy and wait. I'm okay with that as long as everything is on order when the time really does come! Like I said before today is Tyson's 2nd birthday! he is getting so big! We bought him some Bob the Builder toys and a dvd. plus he just got a new bed and toys so i think all in all he's done pretty good for himself! The 3 of us are off to the lake tomorrow to spend some family time together I'm excited. Well I have to go make a dessert for Venitia's shower. its crazy she is getting married and moving away. I guess you just gotta grow up sometime!
